In The Day the Crayons Quit, a young man named Duncan goes to take out his crayons only to find a stack of letters from each crayon in the box. Every spread includes a letter from a disgruntled color and a crayon drawing of their dilemma. Ranging from overuse (blue of course), underuse (beige, pink, and white, respectively) and nakedness (peach crayon’s paper wrapping has been peeled off), each inventive quandary could very likely be a problem for a animate crayon. Still, poor Duncan only wants to color! Fortunately, he is a creative boy who finds a solution to everyone’s’ problems and creates a beautiful work of art to boot! Icon Post Your Review
