Make an ant farm with two jars. Put one jar inside the other and add dirt for the ants to dig. Scoop up ants for your farm and watch nature at work. Go, busy ants, go! This Makerspace title supports the NGSS by allowing students to analyze data obtained from testing different materials to determine which materials have the properties that are best suited for an intended purpose.
