This vibrant picture book biography tells the life story of activist Cesar Chavez. His first march (the longest protest march in U.S. history) to Sacramento to fight for better conditions for migrant farm workers is the focal point of the book, with added information about his early and later years framing this event. An author’s note at the end provides addition information about his life.
