This book will make you laugh and make you cry, and it will make you do both really hard! Set in the South during the 1960s, it follows several women--some privileged and white, and others African American maids--and shows how they each deal with different hardships and successes. If you liked "To Kill a Mockingbird," definitely check this one out.
