Description
It's been months since Ema stopped going to school, going out, eating. She doesn't even want to talk about what happened. And her new city doesn't seem to help her change her mind. Her desperate mother finds a program at the zoo to help troubled kids. It is there that Ema meets Nina, a young chimpanzee who, with her warm, clear gaze, will help Ema heal her wounds.
