Description
Private James Donovan adopted a stray dog he found in Paris during World War I that he named Rags and that accompanied him to the battlefield, where the little dog made himself useful delivering messages and boosting morale amongst the soldiers, but when both Rags and Donovan were wounded during a fierce battle, the faithful canine refused to leave his friend's side.
